This was our first custom home, and Mitch keep consistent
communications with us while we lived in Denver during the initial stage
of construction, and we kept that routine even after we moved to Fort
Collins. The sub contractors on our site were always professional,
timely, and conscientious, many times not constructing, or installing an
item even though it was on the “plans”, they did not think we would
approve of its placement. So instead of just doing what the plans said,
they would stop and give us different options to consider while
maintaining their production schedule, I’m sure they saved us tremendous
grief and anxiety by not letting us make bad decisions, or having to
remove/replace items once they had performed what the “plans” directed
them to. They treated our house as their own personal home, and it shows
in the level of finish and pride they injected into our dream house. We
would love to build another house, as long as Mitch was able to be our
builder again. We hope to participate in that experience once more, but
if not, Mitch will undoubtedly be remodeling our "last house" as we get
closer to retirement.
